Our story begins in 2006 when the PCP airguns became more common. In 2008 we started shooting the 100m try-out competition and from then the 100m airgun competition as well as the PCP world and our hobby/ interest was growing.
As a real technician Mechanical Engineering, the technics got our interest as well. Calculations of twist rate – bullet ratio, lock-time, air consumption and even more were done. Some more successful then others of course, but we never stopped enjoy shooting and doing research.
A lot of working as Engineer in Industrial automation, Industry and Machinery gave more and more experience / knowledge of materials and design principles but also of complex calculation methods such as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEM (Finite Element Method).
In our industrial engineering company Van Ommeren Construction we developed a tremendous eye for detail and quality during the different kind of projects, which came to be a key for future production.
In the year 2017 we designed our very first silencer for high power airguns like the Beaumont and other solid shooting airguns. Other options were available, but they were not very elegant. They were heavy, bold and besides the looks the sound suppression was not that good. We always believed in a small lightweight and robust silencer.
After a lot of testing we produced our first batch in 2018. The VOC Silencer model Aquila was produced 100% in the Netherlands and sold to enthusiastic shooters who had heard about it through word of mouth.
Two years later, in 2020 we started FOX Silencer. The products and the manufacturing were optimized by the automation of the high end CNC machines. We are no ordinary manufacturing company, we are passionate game hunters and target shooters who enjoys to produce our passion. We don’t stop improve and extend our products.
